Before I begin painting the interior or exterior of your home, I will check the condition of the current paint job problems, which could create flaws in the new finish coat of paint causing paint failure.  Also, improper paint choices and incorrect painting techniques are some of the other issues that may come up due to surface condition problems. Knowing what went wrong on the last paint job will help us avoid the same problem from happening with the new paint job.

Once any past problems have been identified, I will first fix the source of the problem, then prepare the surface accordingly for finish paint.  Sometimes an exterior spackling needs to be used on extremly ruff or damaged surfaces such as window sills or fascia.  Proper paint preperation is the most important aspect of any painting project.
